USHERING
Ushers assist in making services
meaningful and pleasant for everyone. We hope that you will
give of your time and volunteer to usher.
We urge you to usher at one or more of the
High Holy Day services, or for services throughout the
year. The first day of Rosh HaShanah, Kol Nidre and
Yom Kippur morning require a large team of ushers. We
encourage you to select at least one of these services.
Volunteer ushers play a key role in
maintaining the tradition of a dignified and smooth flowing
service. Please follow their directions. Note that there
are portions of the service when doors are kept closed.
Volunteer to usher:
Online form or
Print form (PDF) and send by mail or fax 973.994.1838.
