The Sisterhood is a vibrant and diverse group of women that serves Temple B’nai Abraham, the larger community, and the State of Israel.  Sisterhood members work together in a common bond of friendship to reach our goals of charity and service.  We are especially dedicated to enhancing the beauty of our Congregation’s weekly Shabbat experience.  Sisterhood warmly welcomes all female members of TBA to join and support our on going efforts:

aPreparing the weekly Oneg Shabbat
aProviding pulpit flowers
aPresenting gifts to our B’nai Mitzvah and awards to graduates
aManaging the Judaica Shop
aSponsoring Kabbalat Shabbat Dinners and Symposia
aFundraising for the Sisterhood Family Fund, established to provide financial assistance to our TBA families

Pediatric and Adolescent Rehabilitation Center in Israel

Sunday, October 17, from 12 noon to 2:00 PM 
Hanover Lanes, East Hanover NJ

ALYN, in Jerusalem, Israel, is the premier comprehensive rehabilitation center of its kind in Israel, dedicated to treating infants, children, and teens with a broad range of physical disabilities.

Individuals bowl for $15
Bring your whole family (up to 5 people) to bowl for $50 

(Fee includes bowling, shoes & a t-shirt with all donor names listed) 

Prizes will be awarded to the top three scores of the day.

Sisterhood will receive 100% of the sales from the $10.00 ticket price, while the ticket holder receives 15% off almost every purchase (even sale priced items), or 20% off when they spend $300 or more on their Bloomingdale’s card.  (Some exclusions apply; please see ticket for details.)  Plus when the ticket is brought into a Bloomingdale’s store on October 20 or 21, Sisterhood will receive an additional $5.00 donation from Bloomingdale’s.  Presale is available one week prior to event.

Sisterhood’s Family Fund

Please join Sisterhood in our commitment to help our own TBA families.  In these unprecedented economic times, we have all been affected financially, to varying degrees, and as the women of TBA, we care.

To help relieve the pressure and burden many families are feeling, we have created the Sisterhood Family Fund.  This fund will support the Temple’s efforts to provide membership & religious education to all families needing assistance with their financial obligations.
